Career Counselling Day

At Unifilm College, career counselling begins with helping students discover how their creativity, interests and talents can shape their future in media, film, photography, IT and cosmetology. Through conversation, observation and practical assessments, we support learners to understand their strengths so they can make informed career choices with confidence.

Our counselling programme also guides students and families as they progress through training and prepare for industry placement or further study. We provide direction on suitable career paths, programme choices and opportunities that align with each student’s skills, goals and long-term aspirations in the creative industry.

Career counselling activities encompass the following :

  • Helping students to identify their areas of interest, strengths and creative talents.
  • Advising on suitable career pathways and programmes in Ghana and abroad.
  • Providing updated information about institutions, entry requirements, scholarships and career opportunities.
  • Supporting families with documentation for applications, including reports, recommendation letters and guidance on writing personal statements or motivation essays.
